HIPPY Ottawa is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). IRCC facilitates the arrival of immigrants, provides protection to refugees and offers programming to help newcomers settle in Canada.

Andrew Fleck

Andrew Fleck Children Services supports children and their families through high quality, inclusive services that meet their diverse developmental, early learning and child care needs. They provide work and group meeting spaces at no cost to the HIPPY team and to families living within the Ottawa-South catchment area.

Mothers Matter Centre

The Mothers Matter Centre is a virtual, national consortium of organizations dedicated to serving socially isolated and low economic status mothers and their families. MMC equips mothers facing multiple barriers to become engaged and confident parents in preparing their children for success in school.

CFUW Volunteers

Members of The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) give their time weekly to support the HIPPY team with office work such as making sure francophone families have translated books. CFUW also help out with HIPPY group events and outings.

Friends of HIPPY

Friends of HIPPY Ottawa have played a key role in establishing HIPPY at the Vanier Community Service Centre and continue to offer their generous support. Friends of HIPPY is a small group of Ottawa women who raise funds and awareness of the HIPPY program. Through their efforts, Friends contribute to ensuring that HIPPY is always free-of-charge to participating families.

A diverse group of foundations, businesses, and individuals support the HIPPY Ottawa program. Thanks to their commitment, the HIPPY Program is offered at no cost to participating families.
